The IA-D architecture is modular and scalable, from simple I/O boards connected via 0..10 V analogue or serial Modbus to complex multi-sensor units and multi-room balancing of available air-pressure. It support a variety of the most popular building management communication protocols and have ample provisions for various types of relays, servos and motor control.

Through IA-D, InventiAir offers retrofit services for legacy ventilation equipment. This makes it possible forInventiAir’s customers to reduce the total system cost needed, or spread it over time, which lowers the investment threshold for upgrades and overhauls of the building’s total HVAC system. By retrofitting older equipment with IA-D, the utilisation of previously sunk legacy investments can be lengthened, carried forward in time and into the digital world. By IA-D retrofits, much of the benefits in terms of air quality, system efficiency, and energy savings can be injected into older systems.
