Energy savings

It’s easier than you think!

Our idea is that used air should be mixed as little as possible with clean and temperate air. In the case of conventional (mixing) airflow, the used warm air is mixed in with the clean temperate air, to create an even temperature throughout the room. This does not just create a bad indoor climate for people; it is also not very smart in terms of energy or economy!

InventiAir’s products and solutions can be applied to existing energy-saving systems and solutions. This means that you can always save additional energy in a property, even if it is operationally optimized today. Often, we usually focus on saving energy through an energy efficient central fan, an optimized duct system and the right set control. InventiAir creates the opportunity to save energy even in the last part of the system, in the room, where the human is present.

How much energy can InventiAir’s solutions save? As the animation and diagrams show, our technology saves between 25-30% or converted in a reduction of the fan’s energy consumption, the figure is 50-65%. The results of the energy savings are calculated in comparison with conventional mixing ventilation, where the measurement values for the indoor climate and the comfort of the room are set equally between the systems.

“The unique airflow from InventiAir’s products creates layering or stratification of the temperature in the air, allowing a greater amount of heat to be removed from the room.”

How is this possible?

  • The temperature in the room is layered, with lower temperatures around people in the occupied zone and higher temperatures near the ceiling.
  • The air clings to the natural airflow from people and gets a free ride on currents already present.
  • An airflow that has moved along walls and the floor is more concentrated/homogenous than conventional ventilation.
  • The air change capacity (efficiency) in the room can attain anything up to 80%. Compare this with conventional mixing ventilation, which normally has values around 30–40%.
  • The risk of short circuit between supply and exhaust air disappears. This is often not the case in mixing ventilation, when supply air and exhaust air devices are installed close to each other.

Tip! Economise on mechanically produced air. This will save energy, reduce operating costs and increase the value of your property.

We have helped property owners to increase the capacity of the ventilation system in the property. How is that possible? InventiAir needs about 25-30% less airflow than conventional ventilation. In practice, this means that we can increase capacity by 30-40% in the system if it is under-dimensioned. Not only does this mean lower energy costs, it also means lower investment costs and more satisfied tenants.
